The Nuclear Medicine Europe membership includes all major nuclear medicine tracer companies, as well as equipment manufacturers, reactor operators, transporters, and start-ups. Admission of new members is subject to approval by resolution of the membership, in accordance with Article 11 (xi) (e) of the Nuclear Medicine Europe statutes.

Every member must be a company or firm within the meaning of the second paragraph of Article 58 of the Treaty of Rome and must be active in the field of medical imaging and/or nuclear medicine. A company cannot become a member if it holds an interest of 50% or more in the capital of another member company, or if its capital is owned at 50% or more by another member company.

Memberships

A company active in nuclear medicine with its headquarters or official representation in the European Union. Members participate in the General Assembly of the association and hold voting rights on all decisions.

A company active in nuclear medicine located outside the European Union. Associate members do not possess voting rights but participate in working groups and are invited as observers to general assemblies.

A company active in the field of nuclear medicine that has been in existence for less than three years. Start-ups hold the rights and obligations of an associate partner during their start-up status. After three years of participation in the association, they may attain full member status upon unanimous approval from the General Assembly if located within the European Union, or associate partner status if located outside the European Union.

Like associate partners, a company active in nuclear medicine located outside the European Union. Affiliate members do not possess voting rights but participate in working groups and are invited as observers to general assemblies.
